Dona Mary Ejercito dies at 103
The mother of former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada, Doña Mary Ejercito has died last Tuesday.
From Estrada’s spokeswoman which was Margaux Salcedo, Dona Mary Ejercito died at the San Juan Medical Center at the afternoon time 4:15PM. The wake will be set at the St John the Baptist Church in San Juan City, Salcedo additional statements.
Doña Mary’s health has been deteriorating since President Erap’s imprisonened in 2001. The Lady had been confined to the San Juan Medical Center and she has a respirator since last August 2007 her last saving device but suddenly she died.
President Joseph “Erap” Estrada and his siblings, including Sen. Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Mayor Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito of San Juan City, were together with Doña Mary when she passed away.
Ejercito said to media that his grandmother left around 4:15 p.m. at the San Juan Medical Center in San Juan City, Metro Manila.
A message from the Estrada camp saying that Doña Mary died due to multiple organ failure, plus her kidneys had shut down four days before her death.
