Pinoy2 Philippines News Online Inquirer – A(H1N1) VIRUS first community-level outbreak IN THE PHILIPPINES! Influenza A(H1N1) virus first community attack in a certain Village in Nueva Ecija Philippines.

Department of Health (DOH) of the  Philippines declared very first community-level outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) in Jaen town, Nueva Ecija of our country last Sunday.

Dr. Eric Tayag of the National Epidemiology Center confirmed in a text message, the declaration of community-level outbreak throughABS-CBN News and Current Affairs  PinoyChannel TV  as we can read also the latest news of influenza A (H1N1) virus updates on ABS-CBN News Online to cite the report from Zyann Ambrocio, on url of ABS-CBN News website online news beta site! There are 11 confirmed cases (10 students of Hilera Elementary School and a four-year-old child) carrier of the virus Barangay Hilera, Jaen, Nueva Ecija with 92 close contacts which later also exhibited symptoms of the influenza A(H1N1) VIRUS.

The local health officials has been monitoring the situation since first community outbreak.

The classes in the school are still suspended that could last until ten days or more based from the announcement of local officials in that area.

As of Sunday, June 14 there are 147 confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1) in the country, so stay vigilant and always observe personal hygiene remember the health advisory tips from DOH and from ABS-CBN Philippines!
