LOS ANGELES, California ? Gregorio “Greg” Asuncion, a Fil-Am long-time friend of world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, has filed “unlimited” civil case against the boxer’s trainer Freddie Roach, the Wild Card gym boxing club, and “Does 1 to 100? in relation to an alleged mauling incident inside the gym on October 20, 2008. (Reference: PACQUIAO PAL FILES ‘UNLIMITED’ CIVIL CASE VS TRAINER ROACH By Alex P. Vidal)

The case, a complaint for damages on assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, premises liability, and loss of consortium, was filed by Asuncion’s lawyer, Robert H. McNeill, Jr. of the famed Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt law corporation based on Flower St., here on November 20, 2008.

The incident allegedly happened after Asuncion, known within Team Pacquiao as “The Sheriff” because he works at the LA County Sheriff’s Office, escorted Pacquiao from The Palazzo apartment to the Wild Card gym on Vine St., Hollywood.

When he sat inside the gym, Asuncion said he was asked by security chief Rob Peters to leave because Roach did not want so many people inside.

As he was preparing to leave, Asuncion said, “Suddenly Freddy hit me from the back of my neck… so powerful that I fell on my knees. He told me to get hell out of the gym and I said okay.”

“On my way to the door I fell again because I felt dizzy. Slowly I got up again and proceed to go outside and I can hear his personnel yelling at me that I’m acting,” he continued.

Last night on ABS-CBN, on the show The Correspondents they featured Manny Pacquiao. The TV network made a good DOCUMENTARY about him.

It started with an avid fan of Pacquiao dreaming of meeting him one day. Turns out to be Manny’s first opponent in his career. The first portion centers on how Manny chose to put on his gloves to survive poverty and how he rose to fame. And the later part is more about how Manny contributed to the society.

Manny Pacquiao shared some of his secrets, his childhood days, his early jobs, his first trip to Manila, his figths, his family, his fate, and his boxing experiences.

Question? Is Manny Pacquiao million dollar or billion peso earner true or false?

Isa pang baby Pacquiao ay ipinanganak

On December 30 at 6:37 AM in Los Angeles, California (10:37 PM in Manila), Manny Pacquiao’s wife Jinky gave birth to a 7.9 pound baby girl, their 4th child.

Jinky was admitted to Los Angeles Metropolitan Hospital early morning and of course, Manny was with her in the delivery room.

The baby Pacquiao is named Queen Elizabeth, obviously named after the famous queen of United Kingdom.

Looking at baby Queen Elizabeth, she inherited her mother’s skin color and truly has the Pacquiao face just like her older sister Princess, Manny’s 3rd child.

By January 10, Manny and Jinky along with newborn Queen Elizabeth and three other kids will be back in the Philippines.
