Mr. Francis M. the King of Pinoy rap also known as “KIKO” has passed away, died at about 12 noon. Noontime show Eat Bulaga Nagluksa! Wowowee nakiramay din.

MANILA, Philippines – Master rapper Francis Magalona, 44, passed away Friday noon.

Vic Sotto confirmed the news over GMA’s noontime show Eat Bulaga and asked for a minute of prayer for the eternal repose of the singer-composer’s soul.

Mr. Willie Revillame of ABS-CBN nakiramay! Willie asked also  for a minute of prayer for the eternal repose of the singer-composer’s soul.

Magalona battle his leukemia since last year.  He has experience near death days way back last year.

The country’s Master Rapper, Francis Magalona passed away today at 12:00 PM. Our condolences to his family. We have truly lost one of the best Filipino talents of our country. He has various music rap videos, lyrics, mp3, designs, theme songs, Philippine tv shows.

Entertainment industry will deeply grief about this headline story death of MR. Francis M. caused alledgely by Pneumonia complication after his Leukemia condition.

Starstruck, the first reality-based artista search on Philippine television is making a big comeback this 2009!

Starstruck – Dream Believe Survive will return in GMA as Starstruck Season 5 Elite Explosion. Jolina Magdangal, Raymond Gutierrez and Drew Arellano will host Starstruck Season 5.

Starstruck season 5 is subtitled “Elite Explosion” where instead of a final four, an elite final 5 will be chosen and from these 5, the elite loveteam and the elite survivor will emerge.

Jolina Magdangal and Raymond Gutierrez will return as hosts of the Starstruck. Due to the busy schedules of rising star Dingdong Dantes, he will be replaced by Balikbayan host Drew Arellano.

Joey de Leon and Ida Henares will return as judges, together with Iza Calzado as the third judge. Mike Tuviera will be the new director and the new studio of GMA will be the new home of StarStruck.

The search for the next teen stars of GMA will begin summer of 2009

Two years after Season 4, the Kapuso talent search that discovered some of this generation’s brightest stars like Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Katrina Halili, Aljur Abrenica, among others, is coming back on GMA-7 with subtitled “Elite Explosion”.

Jolina Magdangal and Raymond Gutierrez will return as hosts of the Starstruck. Dingdong Dantes will be replaced by Balikbayan host Drew Arellano, due to his busy schedules.

Joey de Leon and Ida Henares will return as judges, together with Iza Calzado as the third judge. Mike Tuviera will be the new director and the new studio of GMA will be the new home of StarStruck.

But unlike the past seasons, the upcoming 5th season will have Elite Final 5, instead of Final 4. The winners will be called Elite Love Team and Elite Survivor.

Prizes will be the following:

MAAGANG umaga huling Linggo, isang malungkot na ulat ay umabot sa GMA-7 Network kinukumpirma na ang isa sa kanilang mga talento, Marky Cielo, namatay.

Marky, 20, ay natagpuan ang walang malay sa loob ng kanyang kuwarto sa kanyang bahay sa Antipolo City, Rizal at 6 Linggo. Siya ay itinakbo sa pamamagitan ng kanyang ina sa isang malapit na ospital ngunit sa kasamaang-palad ay idineklarang patay.

Sa ikaapat ng hapon sa parehong araw, GMA Network naisyu ng isang opisyal na pahayag ukol sa mga sa panahon ng kamatayan ni Marky. Bandang Alas-10 kaninang umaga (linggo) sa Antipolo Doctors Hospital ay idineklarang patay sa dumating ang mga batang artista sa Starstruck Nationwide Invasion Sole Survivor na si Marky cielo.

Ayon sa paunang salaysay ng kapiling ina na si Mildred, natagpuan niyang nakahandusay ang kapiling anak sa kanilang tahanan sa Antipolo, Rizal, at agad niya itong isinugod sa ospital. Sa ngayon ay hinintay pa nila ang resulta ng imbestigasyon sa sanhi ng pagpanaw ni Marky Cielo bago magbigay ng opisyal na pahayag ang kapiling pamilya.

Tubong Mountain Province at may lahing Igorot si Marky cielo, at itinanghal na Sole Survivor sa Season 3 ng Starstruck. Hinangaan siya sa kanyang husay sa pag-Arte at pagsayaw.

“Huli siyang napanood sa Startalk, SOP, at La Lola.

“Si Marky cielo ay 20 years old. Bukod sa mga panalangin, humihiling ang pamilya cielo ng privacy sa matinding dagok na para sa kanilang buhay. ”

Marky nagkamit popularity kapag siya manalo bilang “Ultimate Sole Survivor” sa GMA-7 ng katotohanan ipakita ang StarStruck Season 3.

Siya ay ang unang lalaking mula sa Mountain Province na maging kilala sa mga pangunahing media ng industries.
